The guiding principles of the Ibnu Sina Institute for Scientific and Industrial Research (ISI-SIR), are the philosophy used as the institution’s operational basis, which contains values that guide the institution to achieve the goals that have been set by using the right strategy. They create a work culture where everyone understands what is important to do and make. It is based on the UTM philosophy, namely, “The divine law of Allah is the foundation of knowledge. In line with His Will, UTM strives with total commitment to attaining excellence in science, technology, and engineering for the well-being and prosperity of mankind.” Prof. Hadi Nur, Director of Ibnu Sina Institute for Scientific and Industrial Research (ISI-SIR), explained this in the Siri 2/2022 Intellectual Discourse Program with a lecture entitled: “UTM Holistic Capacity Building in science and Technology: Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Emerging Challenges for Sustainable Islamic Science and Technology”, organized by Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) on 4 January 2022.
